Using engine power to charge your service battery, the Victron Orion XS DC-DC charger combines impressive power with an ultra-compact, ultra-durable design. It's ideal for dual-battery setups and doubles as a DC-to-DC converter for sensitive electronics.

The Orion XS is one of the most compact, high-power DC-DC chargers available, delivering up to 98.5% charging efficiency. Its re-engineered aluminium circuit board doubles as a heat sink, letting the charger deliver full rated output — 700W on the 12|12-50A model — up to 40°C before any thermal derating occurs.

Input current can be precisely limited to prevent alternator overload, and charging voltage is fully configurable to match lithium, AGM, Gel, and other battery chemistries. Multiple units can be connected in parallel to increase output current for larger battery banks.
